SPONSORSHIP & ADVERTISING The sponsorship revenue for the choir has dropped to an all-time low, and I would like to try and reverse that. What I need is good ideas and names of contacts that I might approach who may be interested in sponsoring the choir or advertising in our programmes. MAJOR SPONSORS It would be excellent to have one (or more) of these. They would probably be large organisations who have enough money to be philanthropic, and wish to be seen to be supporting local arts and the local community. They might be organisations new to Southampton. In return, they would get a good package of advertising and priority seats at concerts. I can provide further details to anyone who thinks they might know of a possible major sponsor. MINOR SPONSORS We could divide up the choir's expenses into small packages which an individual or company might be willing to sponsor (again in return for advertising etc..) A small package might be a soloist fee, printing of programmes for a concert, flowers for the soloists etc... ADVERTISING Do you know of any companies,schools,hotels,restaurants,professional bodies etc... who would pay to have an advertisement in our concert programmes?
