Tickets are now on sale for what promises to be a wonderful evening of French music at Winchester Cathedral. The mainstay of the programme is Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, surely the best-known of his large-scale works.
Our first rehearsal for Todd's Mass in Blue, excerpts from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and Tippett's Five Spirituals from A Child of Our Time is at Turner Sims on Monday 9 January.
Join members of the Southampton Philharmonic Choir and the SU Philharmonic Choir for music and readings to get you in the mood for a merry Christmas. Audience participation absolutely required in those favourite carols!
Please note that the concert begins at 4pm. There is no interval. The licenced bar will be open before and after the concert, offering hot and cold beverages, and the choir will provide complimentary mince pies.
